Dr. Ning Wang has been awarded a new grant (NSF ERI) from the National Science Foundation’s Division of Chemical, Bioengineering, Environmental, and Transport Systems (CBET), Directorate for Engineering.

The project uses molecular simulations, machine learning, and generative AI to accelerate the design and discovery of ionic liquids — tunable salts with applications spanning energy storage, carbon capture, water treatment, and chemical separations.
